Handpainted pillow-Peacock January 5, 2011

This peacock lives at the Bronx Zoo. We went to the zoo in November in the cold weather. The zoo was pretty empty and many animals weren’t outside. We were walking around looking for animals and all of the sudden this peacock jumped and landed in front of us! He was walking around on the path and he certainly didn’t care about us! I took some pictures and he was walking down with us. It was such an unusual site!

Handpainted Pillow – Goldfish November 20, 2010

This goldfish is actually my fish and her name is Felicity. She is beautiful and I really wanted to make a pillow of her. The back of the pillow is brown and it has a green cording around. The color combination of brown and green gives somewhat calming and serene feelings to the pillow.

This is an image of a giraffe that I saw in Seattle. I fed it few leaves and it was a lot of fun! I was amazed by the color of its tongue! Have you seen a giraffe tongue? It’s purple! Anyway, I think this pillow is very colorful and fun and would be a beautiful accent for your kid’s room!

Handpainted Pillow – Prairie Dog

My first hand-painted pillow! The image is inspired by Japanese origami papers. An image of a cute prairie dog eating a grass. Both front and back are 100% organic cotton and I only used non-toxic markers to paint, so you would feel so safe to put your face against it!
